Capital Project - 2027
Update, at the October 1, 2026 meeting, the Board of Education announced that they will be delaying any Capital Project vote until May of 2027. Jodi Birch, Business Manager reported, “We continue to work with the district architects and engineers on the BCS (Building Condition Survey) to prioritize mission critical items and identify financing for them. This (delay) provides an opportunity to take time and be thoughtful on how we are making those priorities.”
At the September 9, 2026, Board of Education meeting, district architecture firm CSArch presented preliminary plans for a potential Capital Project, which may be put to a vote in late 2026.
This initial presentation outlined the proposed project scope and timeline. The project framework was developed using findings from the mandatory NYSED Building Condition Survey (BCS), along with input from district staff.
