The Food Service Team is making a plan to provide meals for the 7 – 12 virtual students during the month of December.  We will be offering a 5-day meal kit including 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches.  These meal kits will be ready each Monday (December 7, 14, 21 and January 4th)  We will NOT be serving during the holiday break week (Dec 28th).

Our pick up locations will remain the same and include the following pick up sites:

At the school by the red awning between noon and 1 pm

Bus # 1
Intersection of Harris Ave & South Street 11 am – 11:20 am
Tallmadge Park Fountain 11:25 am – 11:45 am
Best Ave Playground 11:50 am – 12:05 pm

Bus # 2
Hemstreet Park Firehouse  11 am – 11:30 am
Halfmoon/Waterford Firehouse (750 Hudson River Road) 11:45 am – 12:05 pm

Bus # 3
Intersection Viall Ave & Round Lake Ave 11 am – 11:20 am
Intersection of North Main Street & Park Avenues  11:25 am – 11:45 am

The USDA has approved legislation that allows these meals to be free for all children under the age of 18 years old. Did you know that the district receives a reimbursement from the Federal/State governments for each meal served?  Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity as this funding provides much needed support for our school breakfast/lunch program.   

It is difficult to determine how much food to produce if I don’t know how many families plan on picking up meals.  If you would like meals available for your family, PLEASE click this link and complete the brief survey. Please note, you can still pick up meals even if you don’t complete the survey, but it would be most appreciated if you could assist us in being as efficient as possible with our limited resources.
