Dear Mechanicville Students and Families,
I hope this message finds you well and that you’ve had a safe and enjoyable summer, even if it involved a bit of rain dodging! As the Superintendent of Mechanicville Schools, I am thrilled to welcome you all back as we prepare to start the new school year on Thursday, September 7th.
Our excitement knows no bounds as we look forward to the upcoming year. We are immensely proud of the positive direction our district is headed, and we can’t wait to share the journey with each and every one of you this 2023-24 school year!
Behind the scenes, our custodial teams have been hard at work, making sure our school buildings are in amazing shape for your return. Their dedication and meticulous preparation ensure that you will have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in which to learn and grow.
Additionally, our office, admin, and counseling teams have been tirelessly working on scheduling and planning to ensure a smooth start to the school year. They are here to provide support, answer questions, and assist with any concerns you may have as we transition back to the classroom.
As we approach the first day of school, I want to take a moment to wish you all a fantastic Labor Day weekend and encourage you to make the most of your final week of summer break. Cherish those moments, relax, and recharge for the exciting academic adventures that lie ahead.
Remember, our teachers, staff, custodians, bus drivers, administrators, directors, counselors, and all of us at Mechanicville City Schools are here to support and guide you every step of the way. Let’s work together to make this school year exceptional, filled with growth, learning, and wonderful memories.
Thank you for being a vital part of our Mechanicville School community. We are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces next week as we embark on this new chapter together.
Stay safe, stay inspired, and see you soon!
